Hi I'm Alan
New to just about everything I've not been driving long took me ages to pass my test I'm 26!! I don't have much experience working on cars but I am very capable and love modifying things! I bought myself a mk3 with only 47,000 on the clock! only 2 previous owners the first was an elderly gentleman who bought the car in 1996 and only put 7000 miles on it. (I have all the service history to prove it) he sold it to his nextdoor neighbour who had it for 4 years and put most of the miles on it. it was fitted with electric windows and remote central locking parking sensors and a reversing camera he also did some work on the ICE and I have inherited an awful parcel shelf full of crappy speakers. I'm picking up where he left off since owning the car I have fitted a sub disconnected the ****ty parcel shelf the wiring job this guy did is fairly shonky. audio is important to me so that will be my main focus as well as visual mods etc long term I will probably want to swap the engine for something much meatier but thats a long way down the line.
heres a pic of the old girl
If anyone is in the basildon area let me know it'd be cool to meet some fellow mk3 owners near me but i know the southeast is fairly dead lol
