heya guys . just been speaking to a mate of mine and hes said i can keep the astra shell there . has made me a very happy bunny . so now my mind come back on track to what i was thinking a year ago . i have seen most things done to mk3 astra apart from 1 thing and thats a V8 ,, now alot of it wont be too much of a problem thet only thing im worried about and is abit out of my hads is hacking and chopping at the mk3 shell to fit RWD system in it ,i know a few here have had 4wd conversions , just wondering what it costs to sort out the back end on it?

put it this way nothings cheap, my 4x4 will set me in at 3-4k and i didnt have to do the conversion either :/
aye , im not worried what it will cost tbh . having a skyline had made me realise what fun RWD cars are , but somthings drwing me back to the astra , as for the engine i already have that sorted in my shed due to the last time i wanted to start this conversion but i was put off with modding the rear of the car , im a mechanic not a bodyshop expert or fabricator , all i need is for the rear axle to be fitted and be straits and true . i can cut the prop tunnel nps . i heard RC was doing doing a few conversions for others . this true?
yeah but i think it would cost mega money for a rwd conversion like hes doing for himself. and i think he is only doing engine conversions/turreting etc atm rather then full on builds
I was thinking about this, my thoughts are to use a saloon, cally rear floor pan vxr8 engine and rwd gear
