MK4 seats into MK3 astra

Does anyone know if they are a straight fit or has anyone done it before?

Subframes are slightly different but this is what's said in Joycey's thread:

Not direct no, just has longer bolts and washers to make the subframes and seats mount together proply instead of haveing bent/stretched seat legs to make it line up

i wanted to know if the back seats fitted realy, the ones in Joyceys car aren't Mk4 back seats there just retrimmed mk3 ones

Can't see them being that much different to be honest, could always modify the back plates for the backs if need be

yeah i just wanted to know if they mounted up in the same place or if i would need to weld another bracket into the car, cheers for your help.

The mk4 rears are a totally different fitment to mk3's, they have one plate in the middle that bolts to the floor pan but the sides slide into runners..

why dont you just fit another interior out of another mk3 or a calibra even

don't know what to do yet, i was looking for another standard cesaro interior for the drivers seat but having no luck

go for gsi even tho there 3dr, you can pick good passenger seats up to make a mint interior

only prob with using a passenger seat is getting the subframe to fit properly as the cut out for the seat belt clips on the wrong side.. found this out when trying to swap the drivers and passengers seats over on the GSI

Veccy seats have to be modded to fit aswell..

Reno and Scooby have GSi Recaros in theirs and
Kelly had SRi half leather in hers
I have CDX Veccy leather in mine... well all bar the back rests in the rear which I'm modifying to fit better
