My Astra

UPDATE: the astra is still at the garage, needs 3 brake hoses replacing due to corrosion.

Apart from that its a sound car! concidering how long its been off the road I cant wait to drive it!!!! plus my insurance for my clio is £150 a month, the astra with all my exterior mods and performance exhaust is £70!!!! WHooP WhOOOp :D!

I seriously wish mine was that cheap, id be ecstatic if mine was £150 a month ffs

Nice one :)

UPADTE: the astras been in for its mot since last week... has the rear hoses replaced due to corrosion and the master brake cylinder needed replacing, count find one for spares when I've looked so i'm guessing the garage couldn't find one easily. He said it should be ready tomorrow so crossed fingers.

Oh and they somehow put a hole in the pipe that connects the manifold to the cat.... ffs

As the bill mounts up at least the car has a big thumbs up to be more than just road worthy, but also a solid car :)

thats what you want mate it needs to be road worthy. lets just hope the bill dont creep up any more for you.

UPDATE: Got the astra back finaly :)! the breaks are great, i've ordered a new radiator off ebay for £25! with 2 year warranty not too shabby, because the radiator has 2 big leaks either side. Some fun swapping them over.

I'm going to replace the bushes on the front and rear and treat the corrosion, could anyone recommend some 35mm lowering springs that are a reasonable price and will do the job (35mm)

Been driving my astra a canny bit today! replaced the radiator and the car runs smooth. Next to start really making the car look better and improving the suspension.

After all this it's finnaly pulled through and no1 can say it needs scraping because thats all it is to them. F*** That!

Just a few pics of changing the radiator and spraying my plastic bumpers black, gonna use the spray on my trims too

More pics to follow, was too distracted driving my car to bother taking pics haha :D!

I have 17" 5 spoke wolfrace alloy which im going to take off my clio and put onto the astra, will look lush lowered. Going to tint the windows and hopefully put my gsi spoiler on soon and take the trims off the sides so the car looks clean rather cheap plastic.. more to come

I've removed the trims and cleaned it up. looks tidy i'm considering spraying the bottom half with that bumper spray because i've sprayed the trim on the boot which holds the number plate the same colour and it only comes off with t-cut.
The line where the trim was is inline with the bumper so it'd look flush all the way round the bottom of the car. Then lower it with sum bad boy alloys n it's gonna look good :P and me n ma mate fitted the gsi spoiler. its all coming together :)

On the plus side i've still got some spray left in the can after spraying the bumpers and giving the boot trim 2 layers. Cheap yet effective :)

Dont do it, Matt black is just gash now, way to overdone!
