Oh kool but if there was ever a Vauxhall version would it of still been from South Africa or still kept the same name as Opel like that one has? :noidea:

They were never intended for anywhere except south africa, they also came with an advanced driving course before you can drive away in your new car. Most of them were government cars or police cars... very few were sold from the dealer due to the price. That blue one was an ex demonstrator.

I dont want another car like that, id have to restore it to its former glory and leave it stock... althou it would be fun i wanna build something special.

"Most of them were government cars or police cars" = is wrong  ..

The 200ts was built (homogolated) to race in the South African production car Group N races to compete with the E36 BMW M3 after DELTA/GM success in the sieries against the E30 BMW 325is with the Opel Kadett (E) 16v Superboss ( also a South African homogolated model ) .. a total of 500 or more production cars had to be sold to the man in the street in order for the 200ts to race in this series but the banning of turbo cars in the series saw the production of the 200ts come to a sudden stop

as the S A police where using the Kadett 200is model they where also issued with some 200ts models which was short lived in the hands of inexperience drivers:sad:

There is no exact figures of how many 200ts ( kadett = 5 door or astra =4 door saloon)built but it believed that only 500 kadett 200ts ( 5 door ) & 500 astra saloon model where built between early 1994 & early 1996..
