Hi guys, im new to the site, bought my 2.0l sport from Mark Meggy couple of months ago, now looking to make a few adjustments and was wondering if ayone could help me out....

Firstly, iv got crystal lights but tryin to source main headlights in same design (also fogs if possible) and also change the grill to fit better and smooth it off under the bonnet, any ideas?? (i will put some pics up to better describe what im saying!!!)

Need new suspension, was thinking of a coilover kit, does anyone have any or know a fair priced stockist? The car is already pretty low, and pretty damn hard, so anything to replicate would be appreciated!!

Also, im looking to get a full stainless exhaust system, again if anyone has any ideas of where to get one from gimme a buzz.

Anyway its good to be here, and any help will be massively appreciated!!!

Glad to hear that the car is back :D

i thought it had been sold onto a dealer?!

get some pics up of the old girl

Oh and welcome to MK3OC!

Welcome to the club mate enjoy your stay

Yeah it was given to a dealer, and then passed onto a small car dealer in Birmingham and i snapped it up within a week. Will try and get some photos soon!!!

Cool, what was wrong with it when you got it? just the water pump?

also, where you from Brum?

it lives! good old katzenjammer.... you can adjust that ride to make it softer by turning the koni`s down mate, there should be a white key in the cubby box... they are only that stiff because i like to go round roundabouts quickly ;) glad she has gone to a good home and i look forward to seeing her soon!

welcome to MK3OC mate :) coilovers for mk3's are really hard to get hold of, but if your willing to splash out then they can be made, i thing the company is called GAZ, and they cost around £600 i think, hope this helps :)

 looking at old pictures, i does sit perfect on the wheels

the silver alloys are et36 if memory serves and were just touching inside the rear arches on left hand turns... nothing a grinder and a bit of black hammerite wouldn`t sort. she is hard but she handles! if you must soften it, use the key like i said and u could also put on a slightly higher profile tyre like a 45 to lessen the bumps abit.

Hi, got lots of parts taken from my 1997 2.0 sport before I srapped it.

Includes a full 2.5" stainless bastuk system that would bolt straight on, together with a Janspeed Sports cat. Both are top quality.

Exhaust is on

Lots of other parts on

If you're interested ! can do a deal on carraige as I live in Portsmouth and drive-by Winchester most Mondays/Thursdays.

I wouldn't suggest coilovers as they are very expensive and hard to find. I used a Koni Sports Kit 1130-2202 which has -40 springs and top adjustables. Perfect for road and a little track should you fancy it.

where in birmingham did you get it from
