Passenger footwell wet, issue behind scuttle panel??

Noticed my passenger footwell wet so I put a hose pipe over car, it is running down the side of the heater box? Centre bit of dash, is their any common areas? It is not the heater matrix leaking, the pollen filter is dry

Will more than likely be the scuttle panel under the wipers. If you remove it completely (remove wiper arms, the but nuts blow them and the 4 or so screws on top), then clean it all up and put a bead of silicone sealant down the foam-like seal in the scuttle panel then reassemble.

Check the pollen filter while you're there too, if it's in good condition then dry it out, if not replace it.

All sorted thanks, pollen filter was dirty so replaced but was dry. Found a long rubber drainage channel was completely blocked with mud and leaves cleared that out first, then I removed pollen filter base and put a bead of silicon round that and did a water test and no more leaks!! Haven't put it back together as it goes in for respray Monday, biggest pain was removing carpet and that flipping underlay that was soaked, spent ages treading on it to get as much water out as poss and left it out in sun all day (thankfully today was a scorcher!) tomorrow I'm wet vaccing the carpet. I've now got a diary here
