Finally got the headlights sorted out today, i disconnected the angel eye rings last nigth ebcause i didnt want to look a chav, and it actually dims the headlights, i was driving home thinking "cor, these headlights are worse than the standard ones". That coupled with the fact i had them set to LHD haha.
So now i've got them set to the right side, and working at full power
They will be HID'd in the next month or so anyway though.
I've had my back box adjusted today (FOC - thanks Tyreworks!) and my splitter put back on, looks SO much neater now, give the car a whole different stance!
Got my Golf VR6 front splitter sat in the front room, but this won't go on until the new wheels do (end of the month) because it will simply be too low and i don't want to ruin it on the first speed bump i get to

Well, after deciding i was keeping the rear lights, then deciding to change for GSi , then deciding to keep them once again, i was a bit drunk the other night on MigWeb and bought some GSi rears. They came this morning and i de-tango'd them (woohoo), look 100% better i think.

personally needs smoke rears like mine IMO
Yeah i know, did look at tomse, but i've just bought a new set of wheels so spending £80 odd on lights is out of the question this month

Woke up the the doorbell ringing, so i shoot off downstairs and its ANC here to deliver my wheels.
Take the package, look at him with a black face and say "wheres the other 3?"
Look at the order note, and it says 4 items, but only 1 has arrived. After giving him an ear bashing (poor bloke, wasn't his fault) i reluctantly signed for one single package rather than 4.
I called the company i bought the wheels from, and they got on the phone to ANC, fair play the the guy, he called me back within 15minutes. He basically said that due to bank holiday back logs, my wheels have got mixed in with other parcels and were for some reason retained at the main depot.
He assured me they were now on their way to me and will be here tomorrow, so just to be sure i called ANC and made sure, and she said they should be here tomorrow, so... to be sure once more i've emailed them once more and asked for them to send confirmation that the remaining 3 items have been dispatched.
On a plus note, its now pourning down with rain, so i would have got wet anyway

I'm pretty sure 99.9% of you will hate them, but i think they are a 100% improvement over the old ones.
I put the VR6 front splitter on, and i hate it. Its too low and looks a bit odd, so i'm going to take that back off and put one on thats not as deep, ah well, we can but try

Nice wheels. Don't agree with Ben there i think if you do that it will just look like every other Astra you see driving down the road. I really like the look of this car as it is, but yeah the front splitter is too deep!
