Same. Got a bit boring. I did want to go to this one to check out the new venue, but the head gasket has gone on my Zafira gsi so half way through a engine rebuild on that as well as trying to get my astra sorted. So it's a no from me

You're either very unlucky or massively abusive with engines :lol:
 
Hahaha! I'm SERIOUSLY unlucky with cars! Everyone who knows me knows this :bounce:I could go out and buy a brand new car and it would break down on me the moment I left the show room :biggrin:
 
Top end is all ready. Skimmed, pressure tested, valves etc. New head bolts and gaskets. New water pump and cam belt kit courtesy of Courtney sport. Now just got to drop the sump, new bearings and a bit of honing on the bores, clean the pistons up as theres a bit of carbon build up. It already has uprated con rods so hopefully that will do her (I say that. They'll be something else. Always is with me! Haha)

Thats how im feeling about it tbh. Every show iv tried to get to this year so far as been rained off for me. Ment to rain sunday to so the mk3 wont be leaving home if thats the case. Just hope vboa is dry
 
tbh i did want to go to see the new venue, and run at bruntingthorpe.
but my car if off the road for a while now, maybe next year
