RAT look MK3

5 Studs or Wheeltrims?

Just noticed that the Alloys or WheelTrims are 5 Stud.

So this really could be a Wolf in Sheeps clothing, (if they are Alloys!)

Hmm...

Never judge a book by its cover.....
If youve gone to the trouble of upgrading from 4 stud to 5 stud, then there may be a nice LET or V6 under that bonnet.

Cream Leather aswell.....
Calibra V6 or Turbo as your 'Donor Car' I think?
The Front Seats have the Tilt Catches on the Sides, so must be from a Calibra...

This is Not An Abandoned Car Sticker is Class, By The Way!

Look closer at those wheels - try to make out the badge in the middle.

officially the worst mk3 ive ever seen, guy should be shot for wasting calibra cream leather

lol thats cool!

close, back of a pub iirc - had been very unloved for quite a while.

I can see what the guys are trying to achieve and all that...
But, they seem to be going just a bit OTT.

I mean, the Beer Barrell and a Chopper on the roof.
Thats pretty dangerous!

I certainly wouldnt like to be the driver, if it all came flying off on the motorway.
Could cause a massive pile up!
and
Possibly kill someone!

I would have like to have seen the car gone to better use.
The Porsche Alloys and the Lowering look ok.
If the rust was sorted out and sprayed up....
and
The Door Handles Colour Coded...
Possibly Angel Lights and a Reiger Grille.

Oh, and some Clear Side Repeaters (As it doesnt seem to have any )

Then I really think it would look half decent.

yeah it will do, just wanted to get the MOT done first really, its only 8'' though  Still lots of work to do on the inside, really only just started on that. We want to get the body work finished first so that it can have time to 'weather'

For the people that dont get the point, but are laughing at it - you get the point just fine ;) The modifying scene can be so anal and so outrageously competitive that its nice to do a car that makes you, laugh, smile and generate some fun for all, for us its what modding is all about :)

......

definately a respray is in order from bare metal by the looks of it

Bit of history for you.

The car cost £80 as a none runner as a 1.4

To date we have changed due to them being totally shagged:

Engine to 1.6, gearbox, driveshafts, master cylinder, fuel lines, track rod ends, disks and pads, starter motor and we have also done water pump, cambelt etc just to be 100% sure.

The leather is indeed out of a calibra and it cost £40 :)

All the parts for the engine other than the brakes were obtained from a scrap yard, all from cars that have all now been crushed and destroyed.

The wheels are indeed Porsche D90's these are from my old Mk2 golf I had a few years back. The car isnt meant to be a modified car so it wont be having Reiger grill and angle lights  Its a Rat car, so the paint will get worse, its got dents, and we have attacked it with an angle grinder on many occasions

The roof rack is dangerous at the minute because there isnt a roof rack - the car isnt finished yet and we are not that stupid to not tie things down correctly - so we wont be killing anyone - you are safe on the motorway ;)

The Key point is that this car has been brought, built and will be completed for less than a £1000.00 and we think its a £1000.00 well spent just for the reaction and the sheer fun and laughter we have had building it

If you dont get thats fine, but when its parked in a field of highly polished cars at PVS, Billing and other shows this year - I bet you come and have a look at our Rat taxi
