smoked angel eyes?

how easy is this to do? i have the chrom sonar ones, seems theres clips for the lense but how do i seperate the lense as theres a glue aswell?

Yeah they have sealant round them, you should be able to run a stanley knife through it to get them apart

try to heat up the glue between the both parts of the angel, to open it.

e após a optica aberta, temos de tirar o miolo la de dentro e retirar todo o excesso de vedante do vidro e da "calha" onde o vidro encaixa, para depois metermos silicone novo

e enquanto se tira o excesso de uma, vai a outra a cozer

após as opticas estarem as 2 abertas, foi altura dos piscas irem ao forno...burrice do maior..os piscas são todos em plastico,e não são selados com massa mas sim com super cola...ou seja, foram ao forno para nada..ou melhor..para os f"#$#r...

ora bem..hj de manhã, o telefone acordou-me, as moscas e os passaros n paravam d xatear tb, resolvi levantar-me e acabar o que comecei ontem...

foi altura de selar as opticas.

depois dos vidros limpos com o pano MF e o Einszett Windscreen Clear

foi altura de aplicar o silicone.

este é um passo em que se deve ter atenção para ficar tudo junto, para n deixar "canais" onde possam passar gotas e ar.

e pronto, ja está. agora é aplicar as chapinhas de mola, e deixar secar durante 24 a 36 horas.

não meti como fazer nos piscas, pk estes vão fora, vou comprar outros (caso arranje) e estes ficam praki, caso inda venham a fazer falta...

e pronto, está feito o DIY de como pintar as opticas e como estragar 2 piscas.

Sonar ones are different and made from cheap plastic though. I used to have sonars and now have the fk's as above. The quality difference is unreal!

the sonar are harder to open, if you cannot use the heat to unglue it.
btw you can always use a heat "pistol" to heat up only the glue in order to open it. thats the way i've done it on a vw polo headlights

surely if you put it in the oven it will melt the caseing?? i soaked my headlight in a bowl of hot water to soften the glue then the glass just pulls off. not sure if you can do this with the angel eyes

it dependes the temperature of the hoven, has you can see, mine was nearly 90 Celsius and didn't melt at all, but the side repeaters melted. you have to pay attention to the time you left it inside and the temperature,

I dont get wot this is about? There black anyway normally unless they've been sprayed blue for some strange reason? When it said smoked i thought it ment the lens?
