Tell us about something seemingly unimportant that you liked today

I'm currently sitting in the sunshine having a cup of coffee, at a truck stop, on my way to work.

I miss having a garden so much!

Had a moment of serenity yesterday.

I had to deliver a part to a customer who's right out in the sticks.
While he went to get the money I was stood in the middle of this old farm with my eyes closed.
The sun glowing, a light breeze blowing and the birds singing.
I didn't want to leave lol.

I had a rather amusing moment this evening that could have gone VERY wrong!

The wife bought a TV unit on eBay, and we had to go and collect it from the outskirts of London.

It slipped my mind, until the seller and I were lifting it into the back of the Astra, that there was a number of empty shotgun cartridges strewn around, and a shotgun case! (the case only has an air rifle in it, but with the spent cartridges it would be easy to assume it was a shottie)

Upon seeing the above, and the LED worklamp, the guy said:

"ah, use it as a but of a hunting truck then, I do a bit of rabbiting..." (or something to that effect)

I thought 'thank **** for that!" ...I was expecting a phone call to the Met Police to be made sharpish!

 could have gone very wrong.

Best part of today for me, took my Cossie out for a blast with my mate in his Escos, and i wound up a porsche driver who was fuming when i he couldnt pull on a 25 year old Sierra

The wife's 'mint with many holes' managed to scrape through its MoT today! Hopefully she'll stop looking at other cars now, and maybe travel more than 200 miles this year...

Got a stress call from the Mrs saying that there was a loud bang, the main breaker tripped and now the oven wasn't heating.

Electrical appliance repair person would have been £50 call out before even starting plus his mark up on the part and fitting time.
New replacement oven would have been ££££

Fan was workign in the oven so it could only really be the element. Onto espares, less than £20 delivered and about 20 mins removing fecked one then fitting new one.

Yay!

Crunchyroll becoming available in the ps4 finally.

Fitting together my sons new bike so that he can get straight on it for his 3rd birthday on Saturday.
