Saw the google street view car today and struck a pose. :D

Bought 2 new pair of nike trainers on Saturday from the Nike shop in Glasgow, checked the bank today and they've refunded the money for some reason so I've got 2 pair of 60 quid trainers for nowt.

What's on the cards next then Ash?

Working at bt laying fibre optics underground. Completely different path in life but I needed to get out the trade. Quite excited to have a complete change though

Escort. And I'm not talking about ford either:heh:

That's far too exotic for me lol

Thats a good company to work for, at least it always used to be.

I'd like to change trades, just don't know where to start!

Going to my friends garage 100% sure my headgasket had gone, to find I still had good compression and a pressure test on the coolant system revealed a weeping (which soon turned into a full flow) pump seal. Then getting a good deal on a continental belt pump and tensioner, just a thermostat to find now :)

Semi clear roads + Awesome tune starting on the mp3 at the right time = Getting into work on time and in a good mood (for a change). :D

Took the car for a good run yesterday to make sure it was leak free and generally OK to go further afield in, heaters smelt a bit fumey but being a hot day with traffic I thought nothing of it. Just been outside to check the levels now, of course I remembered to put the oil cap back on afterward on wednesday when I last checked the oil after a change... Panicking straight to the dipstick, it's on its lowest marker so haven't run it criminally low, next problem, I'm going to need a cap, no way will it still be in the engine bay... There it is hiding down the side of the battery. Disaster Averted, with my luck lately it should have jumped into the Cambelt just as the engine was about to seize up

I had a woman who came in my shop once, she tried to change her own oil. But didn't put the cap on. As she was driving into my shop i could hear a little knocking!
Oil was seeping out from underneath the headlights. And the moment i opened the hood, everything was coated in the stuff lol. Sadly Engine failure, A little toyota yaris isn't worth the hassle.
So she scrapped it. Call yourself lucky haha

I am my grandad did the same thing with an Orion when I was a kid and took us on a picnic, only when it really started rattling did he pull over miles away to a totalled engine
