1.7td isuzu tunning?

i have a 1.7tds astra

it has a decat
tweaked fuel pump
iduction strait to turbo

anything else these engines like being done for more power?

what mods has youre 1.7td got?

Next would be to wind the boost up to 1 bar and take the washer out the pump. Maybe a bigger fag pipe.

Ive done the same as you with a 2 1/2 inch exhaust system with a single box. planing on winding the boost up on sunday

Search for boosted derv and mr skint, they've both done mods,

Boosted derv has a front mounted intercooler, done the polo mod, fitted an na inlet with a cone on the turbo, upped the boost and the fuel.

However reading his diary he is fitting a bigger turbo, and he has opened up the exhaust manifold a LOT!

there's some more things to do mate

it dependes on how much you want to spend

i've fitted an 2056vk turbo from a merc on my engine, BMC CDA, injectors with more pressure, take all the boxes from the exhaust pipe, frount mount intercooler, you can play more with the diesel pump, governor mod, change de induction to the 1.5D engine (bigger), and i think it should be enough to get some 140 150BHp

Intercooler from a 2.0dti is always good for it to, Bigger fuel pump for the extra boost when you turn that up also, td`s always respond well to a remap

remap? on an full mechanical pump you cannot do it mate

but if it is electronically controled, in portugal we have one of the best remmapers ever

Seat ibiza 1.9tdi 130bhp to 240bhp(more hardware needed) easily
AStra 1.9 cdti 150bhp to 200bhp just with remap, easy as well
