went and got a saab 900 turbo gearbox mount today from a scrap yard in blackburn only payed £20 and its in good nick to, going to put my engine in tomorrow will keep you guys updated on how far i get.

got my engine ready to drop in to find out im missing a mount i need front gearbox mount that bolts to the chasis

Little update put the engine in today need a new engine mount though im having to use a gearbox mount temporary untill i get a new engine mount
heres some pics

ive got to figure out how to mount the cav turbo radiator and intercooler any one dont that before?

Great work mate, you can use an astra td rad as it has the intercooler mounted on the side like the cav one..

cheers mate is there no way you can use the cav one seems a waste to not use it when ive got it

Think it should go in, just a case of fabricating some brackets to hold it at the top..

yea many people have used the c20let rad intercooler combo in there, just a case of re drilling holes and making brackets and a bit of fiddleing. the astra td intercooler is alot smaller than the let one.

last night i started fitting the loom for the lights etc and started fitting washer and coolant hoses / new plugs also i de - tangoed my lights just need to get some orange indicator bulbs now

im going to hide all my loom when i get my inner arches

looking good mate, put some masking tape over the edges of the slam panel as your probably gonna scratch it if your not to carful, keep the good work up,

bit of a update carried on putting every thing together today just need to wait for engine mount which is in the post then put the engine loom in and then tow it down to my mates garage and get the exhaust welded
