A Need For Swede..................

That's what I used on the underside of mine, goes on well and seems to be lasting so far only thing I don't like is its brown lol so I'm stripping it all off next year and using upol raptor tintable so I can have it body coloured

Stuff you`ve linked to is what I used to treat the internal sills and box sections with as its a cavity wax.

How many tins did you use Todd? So I have a idea lol

That looks spot on, need a compressor or just out the can. Any ideas on cost before I make a account :lol:

Compressor matey, only way to do it properly :thumb:

As for cost , pretty sure its available to trade only, but dont think its that expensive, think I used 3 cans on mine
 
I bought 4 cans, they do dynax Ub which is a underbody sealant and then they do dynax s50 which is a cavity wax which I also used, I used there deox gel and hydrate 80 to treat any rust and all worked well :)
 
Are you talking about a waxoil or an undercoat?

I used a generic shiltz type on my undersize for the Derv, its given it a VERY OE look but needed spray gun to give it the right texture-

Today I go to the the bodyshop & see this in the corner





Had a chat and they have been told to crack on with Plan A. Think I may have it back by end of the month...........................
 
Yet hat it does and I really can't decide on wheels now and what to do
 
So yesterday I dropped the following off for powder coating -

  • front subframe
  • rear axle
  • rear arb
  • front strut brace

Also to re do as I wasn't happy with the work
  • Irmi 26mm front ARB
  • GSI rear ARB

Be back in a week or 2 as not in a rush.

Not as of yet but I haven't chased / I know they where flat out on other work and doing prep on mine between jobs so probably not moved :lol:

Legs are still with Nige I forgot to get them but I can take them another time to spread costs.
 
Sadly I dont want to do or write this but its a must.

Went to see a potential doner today to get this project moving but sadly it was as usual not as described it had been hit at the rear of the car at the drivers side and ripped the body.

Due to this I went to the bodyshop the car has moved into the far corner and been covered in well other parts. They haven't touched it and dont look like they will soon / ever. The owner is away but the lad said basically in a nut shell they dont want to do it.

I took most of the panels / parts with me there and then. I am arranging to collect it once home as I go on holiday next week.

Everything is for sale. I dont have time / chance to do any more I have family commitments.
