sould be starting back at it again sometime next week as im still waiting on the new welder to arrive. whats that stuff called that gose over the welds once there dne? is it just weld sealer?first set are 15" cavvy gsi slabs
second set are standard gsi astra

did you cringe when you put the angle grinder on the bodywork the first time ?? I always do lol

Seam sealer on the seams, etch primer/red oxide on everything else as far as i know. I've never used anything else, I know a lad that uses "stopper" on the pin holes though.

I use Zinc spray ... especially after welding.
Well, i am in the process of doing my sills, and they have been zinced up on the inside, on the outside I used a bit of tiger seal, then primer / oxide then filler, new pins and away you go.


any chance you can take some closer pics of the fuel filler cap area and the piepwork routing as thinking of moving mine when i do my arches
