Brought another Astra

Well ive been out and brought yet anothe Mk3 Astra. Unsure on the GSI status tho as i thought it would be a sport but on the logbook it does say GSI??? Its a 1.8 Ecotec gsi surposerbly???

Anyhow, I brought it to do one of two thing's. Either get it road leagle so i can use it and sell the other one ive got or break it. Unforchanetly ive had a look underneath today and ita abit worse for wear. The outside is pritty good. Just a shame the under side has;nt had the same amout of love

So my plans are now to strip EVERYTHING of it and make the one i have into a nicer day to day car. So that means the roll cage i have will be up for sale soon. Along with the quick rack ect.

The REG is M238 FNR if anyone would confirm if its a sport or a gsi please?

It has had alot of money spent on it over the years.
Its got recipes for all of the bodykit apart from the grill toterling over £800
GSI lower rear spoiler with brakelight.
OZ wheels that are in very very good condishion.
white dials
Cat back system
The list goes on


So the things i plan to swop over are.
Full genuin Reiger kit
All the plastic trims
4 stud set up and wheels
seats & cards
maybe the bonnet
single wiper conversion
clocks
carpets & sound deaderning (sp)
heaters ect
Compleate wiering loom
Prob afew more bits aswell.

The Astra i drive now. There are afew changes from the pic's but you get the jist

So ive got these 2 Astra's and i wont to make a nice ish one out of the two.

Yer i really like them.
Thats why i tend to go back to 4 stud.
They do need some tyers tho

Make sure you keep the gsi rear lights

Top one looks tidy like you say on the outside mate. Not too keen on the bonnet on yours atm.

Should look good when all the bits are swapped over onto yours

All in a day or twos work Get cracking!

Im not 100% sure on the bonnet either mate. Some days i like it and others i dont. Proberly will let that go tbh

If you break the top one can i have dibs on the wheels and grille should you chose to sell. Top one does look very nice though fenny, pick it up off ebay ?? Keep us posted on what happens, will be a good little project.

The Corsa. Were to start with that. Done 300 miles and the oil pump went. Now hove fooked bottom end inc mains, big end, rods and crank.
Gona leave it for abit. Peed of with it at the moment.

What a mission to get it on the trailer!! i do like it tho,shame its not as clean as it first looked. u will have a nice astra once everything is swapped over.like i said though,you dont need to rush it and get it all done in a weekend,just take your time and get everything right.
