c18xe & c18xel differences?

hello everyone... I currently have a four branch manifold for sale on the items for sale catagory section... i also have it for sale on ebay... i have it advertised that it will fit both engines (c18xe & c18xel) which I believe it does fit them both... but ive recieved a message from someone on ebay asking me that they are both different manifolds... am i wrong or is this other guy wrong... and while im at it what are the actualy differences between the engines? ino the c18xe is 135bhp compared to the 115bhp of the c18xel, but what are the differences? many thanks steve

only differences that i know are that one has EGR and the other doesnt. Other than that manifolds the same. The only difference could be the way it bends around the sump like the xev. I maybe barking up the wrong tree tho

It'll fit both, only difference between c18xe and xel was the ecu and cams, neither had an egr.

Pretty sure all the x20xev engines in the mk3 Astras had the twin sump (with the dipstick on the left) so it won't fit. Might be wrong though.

As said, it will fit both the 1.8's, but the manifold on the X20XEV's route differently round the sump so it won't fit a X20XEV mate.
