c20xe reference photos?

is there a reference pic thread on here? being as its such a common engine to be found in a mk3.

looking to know where the vacuum feed from the FPR goes to

and also, theres a very small vacuum box to the right hand side of the injector rail, with a p0lug going into it, and 2 vacuum outlets that im unsure where these need to go

if anyone could help that'd be great

Isnt one pipe something to do with the carbon canister?

Thats the one one the side next to the inlet manifold

as the carbon canister is in the drivers arch

yeah thats what i need

looks like thr FPR vacuum and just connect to any vacuum point then

but unsure where the thin rubber hose from the vent valve will go. does it go the the throttle body on a c20xe? forgot to mention i now have dbilas throttle bodies which is why im stuck on where a few things go

one is the thin vacuum hose that comes off the fuel opressure regulator on top of the fuel rail - where does the other end connect to?

and the 2 vacuum pipes off this - where do they connect to?

Hi John, just took a look.

Cant see pic 1. In goes under the SFi box and into the beyond. Would need to look in the morning

Pic 2 goes across the engine then through the inner wing under the screen wash bottle. I guess thats heading for the fuel tank?

the rubber vacuum hose i have on the valve doesnt look long enough to reach to the drivers wing. its only about 30cm max

On your second pic, the removed pipe with the yellow arrow deffo goes as described. The other pipe in the same pic goes to a connection around the area where the t/c electrical connector is on the t/b. Looks like there are two hoses connected around there. Its the one on the left. I cant think of a way of describing it better whereby it will make sense to someone reading my waffle. This will be difficult to photograph. I will call you tomorrow and we can try to talk through it. Failing that, my offer to come over still stands.

fpr goes to one of the vac connectors on the throttle body. Other bits on the end of the mani just bin. It does nothin. Uses vac to pull vapour out of the carbon canister into the manifold when the ecu allows. Hense the plug. One vac goes on the canister and other on the manifold somewhere but i can't remember where. Either way just bin it lol

john,, haynes manual page 4c.4 in the pic no1 hose goes to the servo pipe , that bit the broke off lol

No mate, one side goes to 4 in my pic, the other side (yellow arrow in your pic) goes to the canistor in the inner wing.
