Out member in TAZ is having problems with his cable keeping breaking, is there any grommet to protect the cable in the bulkhead?

It looks like it needs adjusting.. The tension of the cable should keep it pulled in
I took it off to show the hole, he has something inside that keeps rubbing and breaking it
I think that's all it is normally. Just the plastic that sits in the hole.
