Update

Ok main thing i been doing is not very intresting parts

Got Cam Belt changed
Aux Belt Change ( Was allmost at snapping point)

Bits that are cool is i got my rocker cover and cambelt cover sprayed up body colour

Just got to get a loads of chome and stainless steel parts now and i think it will start to take shape

no not yet .. it will be done tho... it will get past its emissions test as it is so its not a huge issue at the moment.. only smokes a bit .. once I'm though MOT I'm going to build up a new head .. new parts ... race spec cams etc .. and then swap the heads over.

Little Update on me motor

It passed its MOT well after i had a few things done , it failed on things i thought were OK and passed on things i thought was bad, shows you how much i know.

Rear break lines and front left break line have been replaced.
new front left headlight as mine was cracked
few bulbs
4x new dun lop tyres

but even with it burning a little oil from the seals it still past the emissions test

its now running nice. i even have a badge !!! ... time to get some nice arty shots of it .. watch this space soon

now i have 12 months to play with i plan to build up a new head and replace them over to get it a totally mint engine

then wiill get new lifters and sport cams and swap over

OK i thought it was time for a update for me lovely project here

No pictures to show yet but i have been ordering bits like a gooden lol (i love when i have money to spend)

I have ordered the following Bits

Full Recon Head (inc all valves seals etc + cams)

Just got to shop around for good labour quotes to get it fitted (best quote i had is £200 quid + (gaskets etc)

Also have ordered following parts

New Water Pump (Cant be to careful)
Rear GSI Clusters
Stainless Steel Manifold Cover
Stainless Steel ABS Box Cover
Stainless Steel Brake Cover
Some Bonnet Lifters
New Handbrake & gear knob gator's (mine getting a bit tatty)
a spare center console bit (the bit that the surrounds the handbrake etc - this is going to be modded to support a 2nd 7" tft screen so i'm going to have dual screen PC setup in the car

Watch this space for pictures etc
