Door sills

hey everybody!!

the gsi is going crusty unfortunately and this winter will be gettin the skirts taking off and a full strip down.
has anyone replaced their door sills recently on their mk3? Just wonder who still makes them, pattern companies, can u buy genuine repair panels? If so how much.

is it worth doing inner and outers? I don't ever wanna do them again lol

I got pattern when doing mine.. pretty hard to come by.. "unless they've started making again"... i did inside as well.. stuff normally goes inside out... mine were really bad inside... didnt look as bad outside... so just prepare for the worse lol... then with the holes up the back... cable tie a waxoyl gun up.. and leave it in there to flood

I did my derv recently, Just used a skin- pattern part

Bear in mind that this is my daily aka my "hack" lol gives you an idea though if you just want to fit a skin over it.

I've have tried mega hard but seems to me noone makes them anymore! I'm gonna end up fabricating at this rate!

skin could be useful thou to go over the top of anything I do have to fab

From a place local to me where I get my paints from (Bolsover autosupplies).
