another thing, when is the deadline to book for the following shows to attend with mk3oc?

PV we have to send off the forms by the end of April

Billing we have already had a gauging interest to see what numbers of passes we need and we ordered a few extra as we always do, when the passes arrive it'll be first come first served for the extra's.

The new show we're not sure on yet as still waiting on full details

I think tbh when it gets to a stage like that, is it really worth paying all the money out to have the work done. It will only be worth while if your going to keep it for a long while.

i agree completly. if i was going to use this car everyday then id say no point, and just reshell.

but i only plan on using it for the 3months 'summer' we have over here for the show season. then back in the garage she will go. but i plan on keeping her for a looonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggg time

jesus h christ thats bad if i dont sell mine ill run it into the ground and get another to be a "summer" car. Thats nearly as bad as my ph1 gsi that was restored

more updates. popped to the bodyshop after work to pick up the camera to get some piccies up, and then i'll drop it back off to them tomo morn to start taking more photos.

the rust is alot worse than i first antisipated when i bought the gsi. it seems very bad in places! however, im not going to give up on her as ive started now lol

inner arches are being made up using plating. ive been assured these will be rust treated too. the rear have been welded up before. ideally i would have liked new inner arches, but its all money money money.

I'll let the pics do the talking. very impressed by the rate of work this bodyshop are working at. considering they only started it yesterday
