Fitted a few interior mods today:

Cavalier illuminated sunvisors
Electric sunroof with the proper mk3 surround.
Omega varible delay wipers
mk4 coupe interior light, fitted my alarm sensors into this so looks factory

Easy enough to wire it all up Kev, the sunvisiors are only two wires, earth and permanent live which I just took from the interior light wires.

Got the surround from vauxhall cant remember how much its was exactly but it wasnt that dear.

Wired the sunroof up to a spare slot in the fuse box (21) and ran thick wire up the a pillar to the motor., earth is just screwed into the roof panel, same as the visiors.

How did you wire the variable wiper switch in, was it just a case of tapping into the standard intermitant feed wire an wiring the switch inline..

Heres pics of when i did the wiper mod to my gte, its the same on the mk3 but you have to connect up the wires for the MFD too.

Heres the stalk and relay from the omega, point to note is you need the stalk from the omega estate as this has the rear wiper.

Get the proper connector too, as this helps make the job alot easier:

You need to find out which of the two black/yellow wires are positive when the ign is on and intermittant wipe is selected, then cut this black/yellow wire and connect either end to the black/yellow and black/white on the small stalk connector:

Like so, then connect the wires for the fuel computer up too

Then remove the standard wiper relay and replace with the omega one:

The delay variation is from approx 10 seconds to approx 2 seconds.

Havent really done much on the car for a while but having been to modified live at weekend Im getting motivated again !

I now have this front bumper complete with splitter to fit once I have been busy with the fibreglass, as you can see it needs a few repairs !

Also going to have ago at making a phase 2 Gsi front grill.
