Yeh so thought why not put brand new unfaded ones on think I`ll detango them first though ! They look so much better than the current ones, specially on a dark car.

alright mate its mikey. ha. havent been on mk2 for a while now, havent even touched my gte for a while either. i got the f28 for it then just left it there, gonna carry on after my holiday, want the engine in and running by xmas and striped ready for the go faster bits to be bought and fitted. ha cant wait really

Update, got the documents through from the DVLA this morning after a long wait, the private reg can now go and luckily I`ve got the cars original reg back

So things will be moving a bit fast now for R827 ECL, next thing to do is swap insurance over from the GTE and get some new plates made up then I can rip the engine out of the GTE and get on with turboing the GSi.

Ive done a few more bits on the interior so far, have bought new leather gaiters for the gearstick and handbrake, a new momo race gearknob and some very nice tailored floor mats with the GSi badge embroiderd in.

Really impressed with them, they fit well and are made from a good decent quality carpet





Leather gear stick and handbrake gaiter set again from a seller on ebay here:

Also fitted ne Momo Race gear knob too.




Fitted the rear headrest sleeves too and on the look out now for a pair of dark headrests to match the front ones.




Fitted the phase one rear lights and badge, I detangod the lights and they look much better than the ones that where on it. I will take a better pic once the car is out.

Gaiters are good mate, quality thick leather not cheapy thin stuff

And made these LED blanking covers to replace the doorpins

Not sure Mickey will have to stock up on the door pin surrounds first lol !

I`ll see what work is involved fitting the downpipe when I put the LET in as I know its gonna need modding to clear the subframe.
