My phase 2 GSI

What sort of spaz only seals a windscreen in one corner?! Lucky it didn't fly out when you braked lol.
 
Seems a bit odd :/
 
steamed up occasionally but carpet dry Is under cover every night But should have got wetter than it did

As if it never leaked why oh why would you bond a windscreen in one corner
 
Dont think it was intentionally fitted like that there was sealent all the way around the frame but when the fitter put the new screen in he de greased the new screen before it came into contact with the sealent, he seemed to think that this hadn't been done when the last on e was fitted and that's why it had only rwlly taken any sort of hold in the bottom passenger side corner.
 
right guys bit of an update coming, unfortunatly i could'nt get my car in for paint in time for billing and a few issues with my wife's health has delayed a couple more weeks. But car booked in for the 4th august to have complete front end,(bonnet, bumper and wings) rear bumper rear spoiler around petrol flap and passenger door.

Question is are the bump trims on phase two doors still available and if so does anyone have a part number.

If they are not am I right in thinking that using a heat gun will allow me to remove them from all around the car
 
In short yes and when you order them make sure your sitting down and have lube to hand they are not cheap as I bought them for my gsi.
 
Well two weeks behind schedule dropped the GSi off for paint. Bonnet, front and rear bumper, both wings rear spoiler and passenger door and rear spoiler. hopefully will get it back next week. Pics to follow

Got delayed because two days before it was due to be dropped off, I went to Manchester in the Honda to tow back a Saab turbo I've bought using my trusty A Frame.
Not so trusty anymore it failed and jack knifed the Honda on a roundabout it ended up on three wheels facing the wrong way and has taken out the three quarter panel and the floor.
So couldn't afford for both cars to be off the road at the same time so the Honda has been sold to a bodyshop and my wife is now driving a Volvo C30 r design 2.0 diesel, She says I cant mess with this but its already booked in to be chipped

Lmao, always the way. I'm already considering mapping options for the new derv addition.

Will be good to see it when it comes back. Having the bonnet done as well then are you?
 
Well hunt is on for a viggen clutch as the standard one went bang in the outside lane of the A50 at 80mph
