My phase 2 GSI

They did.

Now I've got the pressure plate I'll go paddle next time.

Well no pics i'm afraid but Viggen clutch fitted, Turned into an expensive day rear gearbox mount fitted as it was in two pieces when I took it off . Front gearbox mount ordered as that is breaking up as well and two new ball joints fitted.

But easier job than i expected and car feels really strong now

That's a bloody quick turn around. Good work.

Collected the clutch kit Friday afternoon fitted yesterday morning. engine mount was a Saab one although all the parts came off the original 900 which was P reg and had done 95k so only to be expected really

Where did you get the clutch kit in the end?

Advise needed the winter not being kind to the car and needs a little TLC (the joys of 110 mile round trip for work) need to replace top mounts going to go genuine, Also need to replace wishbones.

Question is do I go with genuine or am I better to by after market and fit poly bushes

Gen and fit poly bushes. I've read that aftermarket ones are a crap fit for the bushes......but I could be wrong......

This im afraid. £95 per arm just to burn the bushes out to fit polys lol

Hows it going Andy? Not seen you on here for a while

I would go genuine, I will be doing next time.

RC had them in pattern arms and the arms broke, he got gen ones and burnt them out for polly ones

Is it really worth polly though unless its on a track, wouldn't it make the ride pretty harsh??

Car had some major TLC today, genuine top mounts and wishbones, drivers side CV joint, alternator belt and two new tyres, and re done induction pipe work had a whole in it were it had caught on the power steering pulley. car feels so much better just need to get it tracked tomorrow.

Awesome. Expensive time you've had then.
