Next will be to get the rear splitter put back on and eback box adjusted (so it fits in splitter properly)
Then it will probably be getting the bodywork sorted (crack in sideskirt and some paint bubbling on a rear quarter).
Don't really plan on doing much more now apart from a front splitter and chaning the rear lights. I'll probably smoke the front lights/indicators and get smoked side repeaters too.

Hi all,
Last week i purchased a set of projector/angel eye headlights for my Astra.
The standard lights are shockingly crap, so i went ahead and bought them for the projector units so i had better visibilty at night.
A friend had a set on his Polo, and he had a sidelight bulb in his main beam unit as well as the "rings". Great, i thought, until i opened the box and saw there was no such thing on my units.
Theres no way i'm going to drill holes in the headlights, they are brand new. I *could* drill into the sidelights and put them there, don't want it to look like a "scooby" wannabe, but at the same time i really dont want to have to drive around being a BMW wannabe.
Here's a pic... suggestions..?

looks good phil- small sugestion- can the 'siliverish' border around the indicators be concealed somehow?
with regard to side lights- im sure some cavalier run a low current through the headlight bulb when the headlights are not on- so could something similar be done wth yours so that one or both of the headlights are very dim when the sidelights are on?

yeah, of the new ones please 
the chrome ones always tend to make the mk3 look bug eyed. so i'm interested in what the black ones look like without a badboyed bonnet, or rieger grille, as i've got loads of pics of them combinations.

Ok time for some updates...
Last week the ignition barrel snapped, so we changed that (£13.99 from ebay - bargain) and all was well.
Then i got drunk one night, left my only key fob to get in the car in my pocket, and mum put it through the wash. After a lot of headaches i found out the name/model of the Alarm, got in touch with a company that specalise in them, and discovered the alarm i had is well and truly obsolete, so i've had to order a new alarm.
A company is coming out on Monday to fit a Toad Ai606, £205 fitted (come to your door) which is cheap considering Toad themselves advertise the Alarm for £299.99 fitted.
So at the moment she's parked up in the garage, because she id de-locked i have no real way of locking the car, so its locked up firmly and not going to move biggrin.gif
Next on the Agenda is to sort my wheels out, i'm selling the 15s and getting some 16s, not sure what type yet but i have a good idea, this is waiting until the end of the month now though.
Exterior wise i'm going to be getting the bodywork done in the next month or so as it lets it down, i need to get some rust on a wing sorted, a crack repaired in a sideskirt, as well as chips in the other skirt. I've not decided whetehr to put new doorstrips on, or to get what the old ones left behind re-done (paint layers) but we shall see on that one.
May also have new frotn and rear bits on the way, we shall see...
