Recieved and fitted the aerial today, its abit bigger than i thought it would be and tbh im not keen, also the recieption is abit poo 
but it will do for now

nah looks alright, will be better with the spoiler (which im still waiting for
)
also improved the reception as it turns out the aerial uses the main nut as a ground and the nut that was supplied with the aerian wasnt cutting into the paint work inside the van. so ive took the paint off and used the original nut that has a jagged edge.
i now can get radio 1

whoo..... i dont really like radio that much, should look good when the spoiler's on
The new aerial looks aright, a lot smarter 
i guess its better than a manky seal will be colour coding it and getting the roof and rails re done on friday after i sort the si out

Is it the insignia shark fin ariel you got mate?
nope just a cheap ebay jobbie, but i wouldnt get the insignia one as its for gps and mobile and it stick up alot, if i were to spend abit of money id get a genuine vw one as they seem to be the best
Had the van roof re painted, roof rails and the shark fin. It looks alot better, still not perfect but it was never ment to be will get pics up in abit,
Also im getting messed about on ebay over the spoiler, had to put a case on egay over it, the guys now saying paypal havnt released the funds (3weeks on) so having to sit tight for abit, will be waiting till next week and if they aint here il get a refund

van looks good mate needs a good polish . i like the black on the roof i might do the same with mine in satin black.
Pics of the roof now, doesnt look any different to the last pics but ive fitted the roof rails

dobre I went to a vauxhall dealers they sed there is a choice of 3 insignia ariels, they sed theres a base speck shark fin with just the radio but as you sed they stick up alot, im not sure now
tbh mate any shark fin is going to be abit ****e signal, i can get all the bbc channels at my house but if i drive to the near by towns etc i can get all the others. if oyu want a shark fin id just get a cheap one or get an omega amp box and smooth the aerial hole as the vans look cool with no aerial.
mmmmm i choices, choices.. the only thing is if i smooth it, that means re-painting the roof. i`ve never seen an omega amp box to be honest, where are they located in the car?
under the parcelshelf part i think, tom f will know as he was selling one. id of gone with no aerial if i could of been bothered and as its not my main project it doesnt get my full attention
Finally got an email from the guy with the spoiler and skirts, paypal has released his funds, his computers been broken blah blah blah and apparently i should recieve it on friday so fingers crossed
