Remote key fob (my zaf)

The battery holder in my keys has broken away resulting in it not working
Is it just a case of buy a new key and program it in?

Basically.. I've soldered mine back on for the mk4 though.. before then I packed some card behind it to pressit against the PCB.

New remote will need to be programmed with OP-COM

Il see if I can re-solder mine then, each time I open it with the key the alarm goes off when I open the door

Only takes 5 mins to programme a new key in with op-com, i had to do it with mine when i first got it due to the key being a different type to the c.l. ecu..
