Ill have to organise one down @ track and road, as they tell you probs (if any) and tell you how you could fix it etc... :)

glad we didnt get in that bar tho - Chicago rock was mint lol :lol: to me as RR day is £25-30 and it stays at that :rolleyes:

As per Nevo -

Daryl ran his SE2 1.8 mk4 and told him to remove the TC fuse. The operator didnt and in the end he went over and stopped the guy from running the car - lent in the window and removed it himself. he got 123bhp as he should of in the end.

Clive Attow in Norwich is very very good, and his reputation is secong to none. Usually works on high power skylines, V8s etc :nod:
 
well i got 117bhp on my 1.6 sport with a powerbox, sportex race tube and peco back box better than the standard 98bhp was a bit annoyed at the price increase just gotta live with it
 
I dont mind paying for good service etc, but today was abit shocking, and the ****ing drain cover!
 
They sound like a total bunch of tits... 170 odd bhp on a 2.0l turbo, std there 200!

Ive been asking around on forums i use and the replys pretty much follow this thread....

The look and sound like a bunch of amatures to me, fueling and timing used as an excuse? I know enough about engines (old and new) to know that Johns graph wouldnt look like that if it were timing or fueling OR both!

Ive seen the videos of the day- muppets is all i can say.

i went today for a laugh with my bro(lukec). i thought it was a bit funny that they was having to get people to sit on the wings when they was running standard xe's. no wonder the turbos struggled to put any power down!!! people cant moan other than nevo about there figures because there not exactly far off are they.and nevo woulda done better if jamie had pulled the fuse. must say it was nice to meet people i havent seen for a while and i actually got to help someone in a white turbo, had a dodgy tyre and i give him my spare as i was the only person with a 5 stud spare wheel.(good old mk4 astras eh lmao) i would have rather it been at northampton motorsport as it just seems so much better there. never know i might even have a car worth running next time.
 
i do have to say thank you for the Mk3oc Team for organizing the event - all the issues are not with yourselfs so dont worry :thumb:

I guess I can't blame them for my annoyance.

Even without a go on the rr, I still think it was a good day. It was nice to observe and have a drink/chat in the pub afterwards.
Not worth a 100 mile round trip though.

20 people ran and paid so yep id say he did. They said doms wasnt safe as when they put power down the wheels moved back but they ran his again :rolleyes: i know dom and they where talking crap. Yes he had a little bump and bent a few bits at the REAR but that wouldnt affect the run. if it was that bad then why did they run it later on?
