forgot to add, i also changed my thermostat when i did my lambda sensor. if the 'stat is stuck open this could also trigger the car into being on choke all the time as the engine is kept cooler, but as another effect your heaters would always blow cold when driving, they just wouldnt warm up.

do u get alot of carbon deposits on bk of car an exhaust?

yeh my wire came off my thermostat and used an absolutely huge amount of fuel.

wheres the wires, as my temp never gets out of 0'c

and i use loads of fuel

mine just clipped onto the top of it. mine is just to the right hand side of the inlet on the top of the engine but mines a v6 so not sure about yours.

sorry dont have a pic. im sure someone will tell you where it is on your engine. maybe start a fresh thread asking where it is?

got 1 of these too and yes my fuel expense is sky high too thats with a full service and fresh MOT admittedly i sometimes hav a lead foot but it doesnt seem to matter how i drive, aaaaarrghh
