Evening all, your be pleased to know the astra still lives! I give it to my friend who put a XE in it and used it for autotests etc, but just done a deal with him to have it back, as a new race series has pop up at castle combe alowing the Mk3 in, I race in the saloon car championship already in a st fiesta but feel the astra needs to get back out there as it has some unfinished business there. It won't be done for 2017 but will be doing bits as and when I can, in the mean time I will get the astra Moted and have use it as a spare car.

So after a cage etc if anyone has one hanging around,

Wow people still remember it!!

I have not got it back to the workshop yet will have it in a few weeks, as my fiesta is still needed abit of work ready for the race session this year. It still has the stickers on it but look abit old now, different seats that I will change as more like classic bucket seats. And I will keep the XE in it and think it's got a f16 but need to look at the codes to see if a CR or not, but will pull everything out and start again just so I know it's done how I want it. I have had a go in it on a autotest about a year ago and it still flys (won the event) so well happy to have it back, there is something about that car But will post it all up when I get it, just need to do a few little jobs on the 20v turbo golf i swapped it for before he has it.
