I was working on one of my mowers a couple of years ago, decided to pop the oil cap off while it was running, no idea why, I'd never done it before.

Didn't knacker the engine, but I was very quickly splattered head to tow in fairly warm oil...
 
I don't think it mattered anymore on my mk3, with or without cap, i was losing huge amounts of oil a month haha
 
Some bloke in the petrol station walked past and said "lovely motor mate". The little things eh
 
Oh i did that to an older guy who was driving a stock red Kadette, it put a smile on his face. lol
 
Makes a change from the nobheads who mutter something about your car being **** or whatever when you're in a traffic queue and they say it just as they go past from their financed gangster mobile 'cause they're that hard they can't say it to you face. Pussies.

I know wrong thread for a small rant, but I am speaking from experience lol.
 
I was never a fan of modified boy racer stuff, i'll easily tell a guy who restored his stock gsi that it's a lovely car
Than someone who added twenty spoilers on the back and a weird ricer bumper with chicken fence for grills.

A few months ago there was this car meet where someone bought a volkswagen T2, and gutted out the entire interior, added speakers everywhere and race chairs.
Asked if i liked his car lol. I replied with "i've never seen a stereo on wheels before"

These people suffer from a rare condition called NBPE
Not being punched enough.

There's a lad who dogs around in an old micra mk2 in the town, all done up with all the bells and whistles. It is a **** car, but I'd never tell him that, because he's happy and obviously loves his bit of motor. And it's nice to see something different to everyone else's boring old cars.
 
There's a guy in a city nearby that made his micra look like a subaru, even slammed a hole in it's exhaust.

Problem i have with the local modding/tuners community is that they're quite chavvy people compared to the folks on lets say here or migweb
 
My printer can duplex print, without me having to post the half printed paper back in the paper tray.

This pleases me greatly.

This confused the hell out of people at work when I started there last year and started duplex printing stuff, they had no idea :lol:
