Tonight is Music night.

In Aust there's an anti-smoking ad with all sorts of yucky images of the perils of smoking ... well this song is playing in the background ... it's Leonard Cohen's "Everybody Knows" ... I love this song at the moment I love the deep register of his voice ... I found this YouTube vid with "The Man From Uncle" as an accompaniment to the song ... I spotted a very young Dr Spock 38 seconds in! Younger mk3oc members who watch NCIS might recognise a very young David McCallum who plays Dr Donald Mallard. But us oldies will know him as the Russian Agent, Illya Kuryakin; who partnered Napoleon Solo in 'The Man From Uncle'

Men @ Work were huge down under and so some point still are ....

Colin Hay is a glaswegian like me and most UK folk probably are'nt aware of the fact that the Aussie rock scene was totally built by Scots!
