alright people long story short i have got a mk3 gsi c20let on my uncles drive taht i started breaking as the passanger door was rotton and i just wasant using the car since then i have decided that i want another gsi but carnt find a clean one local to me so i have had a good look at my blue one and it only needs a passanger door two front wings due to little dings all over them and suspension (as i sold old set up) and wheels then a visit to painters i just dont know weather to cut losses with this one and buy another one what you lot think ??

depends how much the car means to you tbh mate, but id say fix it up and save it

thats the thing its not i have took sideskirts off today and sills are a1 and also arches have no sighn ov rust either inner or outer and behind back bumper also solid the car has been waxoiled at somepoint so possibly all been done before just passanger door bottom is mullered

Save it, a door won't be hard of to get hold of, even if its a normal one! Bodywork is nothing, a quick skim of filler, a bit of sandpaper. Elbow grease, primer and a few bob to the local bodyshop and you could have a minter on your hands, with a let too! Parts aren't hard to come by, even if you jam some standard suspension on it from the local breakers yard for the time being!

woody if you know the car then keep it, no good buying someone elses problems and the parts you need aint exactly hard to find

You can repair a lot anyway. Arches and sills are nothing

it makes sense to keep it realy i know just i had it in my head it was going lol just wish i had waited a bit before i sold suspension /wheels ect ect lol looks like iam on the look out for gsi parts lol
