Whats my car worth thread.

Right guys and gals,

I think i have finally decided to sell my GSI, problem is i have no idea what its worth so was wondering on your thoughts.

The spec is as follows;

1998 R reg Ph 2 GSI special edition
Flame red
2.0 ecotec engine
59k miles
Full service history (folder full of reeipts)
In last 2 months it has had oil change, new leads, new cam belt, new aux belt, new water pump, and new thermostat.
Last week it had a custom hand made exahust fitted at pro speed in cardiff at the cost of £320. Very quiet system (as near to standard as possible) with irmscher DD style tail pipes.
I also upgraded the satndard wheels with identical versions just a bigger size, 16" at the cost of £500.

Car really is immaculate. those that saw it at PV can vouch.

unfortunately id probably say its only worth what you paid for it - maybe 2.5 tops. All depends what people want to pay

Book value ain't brilliant 1 to 1.5k tbh, so in mint Id be looking at 1800ish if it was me buying it. it's more of a specialist car now a modern classic, but stuck it up for 2250 see what interest you get

gota say it looks pretty mint that car id love to have it to go with my pineapple wunt accept anything under £2000 for that mate.
