X20XEV (omega B)

Howdy folks,

one of my handicapped friends has this giant omega B, with the X20XEV in it.

Sadly it cut out due to a failed camshaft sensor.
Also it's pissing oil all over the sparkplugs, i suspect a leaking valve cover.

Does anyone know if it's an easy job to do the camshaft sensor?
And would anyone here happen to know how much torque i should put the rocker cover bolts?

i assume is the same block as they put in GSI's.

Bit of a guide on a vauxhall owners network forum. Should be easy enough for you jordy.

I've never torqued any rocker bolts before, just done them in the same pattern as head bolts, and in stages; all finger tight, then all a bit more etc. There probably is a proper setting though

Rocker bolts are usually around 8-12nm

Only use a decent brand (original GM if possible), cheaper rocker gaskets leak from new!!

Ooops..
The X20XEV has a hard life hauling the Omega around, it's in a better place now
