Sound ppl, had a bit of a brainwave thee other day and this is what i come up with-the breather pipe from the top of the engines goes to the inlet (pipe sumet to do with fumes of oil and tht bein burnt)well it keeped making a rite mess of my butterfly valve, oil all over the fxxxxn place so what ive done is on the turbo engines and tht they have a swirl pot for this so i made 1 and wht a difference it makes,no nasty oil being burnt plus it gets fresh air all the time its like the starship enterprise now!:heh:
 
Simple mate the breather that comes of the top of the rocker cover goes to the inlet pipe, right cut that pipe by the inlet and block it off the remaing pipe that goes in the inlet,then the other end goes into a small container say the size of a small bottle or you can buy 1 (ive just made my own for the time being) make a mount for it remmeber to leave the top of container open or even leave a good size hole put the remaining pipe in it and jobz a good un another thing dont use the oil thts gone into the container as it is contaminated with water,pure it away. sorry havent got pics of mine as my bluetooth is playing up soon as it is sorted i shall put pics up;)
 
put some pics up mate, what ive done is just blocked the inlet manni pipe and then put a filter on the pipe going from the rocker cover. fills the cabin with a loverly smell though!
 
True they do use them little filters but over a good amount of time they clog up, there for you have to take them off and clean em where as what ive done you only have to empty the cannister and put it bk on 2 mins work, im having a proper 1 made of stainless steel theres a place by mine called sevs tht make and fit them

There just ****ed cause they daint think to use it! did dums:heh: plus any of you above got 1, NO cause you would of said if you had.

1 more thing why you need pictures when they have been around for a so called 60 years? plus if you read my first post you would of read i got the idea off cars that have turbos! so who said anything about inventing it?:doh:

I don't have one because I couldn't give a toss how much oil gets in my inlet :lol:

If I did though, I'd just get one of the filter boxes Vaux started to put on the Ecotec as standard instead.

either get used to it and put silly comments back or get ya hitlist ready for PVS :laugh:
 
the pipe he is on about is the other side of the one your on about rusty and thy do a thing called oil catch tank 4 that
