As far i can remember went on with no cutting hit every speed bump going though..

Little update..

The mileage on the turbo clocks ive got in the astra was miles out, the car is on 68k the clocks are on 118k , so did some thing about it..

Before..

Speedo head stripped out..

Changed to correct mileage for the astra..

And all built back up again..

Job done only took half an hour..

Had a few hours on her today fitted omega bonnet struts..
o/s..

n/s..

also fitted new front breather hose as the other was fooked..

started running wires down a posts for my omega self tinting elec interia mirror, power down o/s and the other four down n/s got all headlining back up and sunvisors etc back on but thats as far as i got, no pics of this as phone battery was near on flat , will get some pics and continue with this when i next get chance..

Its getting there mate, A mate of mine owns his own scrap yard and i always down there fixing there motors but they never get anything descent in i.e cav/cally turbo, GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRR

Bit of an update, had a couple of hours on the astra so firstly fitted my turbo clocks back in..

Then got all the self tinting mirror wiring at the roof all solderd and insulated..

Just got to wire the +ve into the fuse box and three wires to the switch and one to the g/box switch wire then its done..

i hope your clocks read right mate, as astras start at 10 instead of zero, but i supose if you have the gearbox to match the clocks then it should be fine,

Cheers mate, clocks and box are from the same car so should read right, still need to wire the abs ecu and sensor etc yet so they wont read owt at mo..

quite easy now ive found which wires to use more time consuming running wires as ive run them down the inside of the A post an not just under the trims..

balls to all the ABS stuff, more clutter in the bay than out else,

Not fitting abs its self just the abs ecu so i can run my elec speedo off it..

Where do all the wires go too?

Wires you need to use is:-
Black - switched +ve (might be two if so wire them together)
Brown - earth
Gray/Black - gray on interia light ( might be two so wire them together)
White/Black - to g/box switch in passenger footwell

Rest of the wires go to a electric mirror switch mounted in the centre console some where

Black/Red - to black/red on elec mirror switch
Blue/Red - to yellow on elec mirror switch
Blue/White - green on elec mirror switch

Then piggy back a black (switched +ve) and a brown (-ve ) from heated seat plugs and join:-
Black - black on elec mirror switch
Brown - brown on elec mirror switch

You should then have a fully functioning omega self tinting electricly operated mirror..
