Should be getting a welder in the next few weeks so i can start to crack on with the bay..

Im old school and like the feel of the mechanical pas, but then its a bit more clutter in the bay......decisions decisions....its a long way off deciding which way i go anyway so plenty of time to decide...

u deffo haven't tried epas then, honestly it barely feels any different, if ur astra is lowered and u have wide tyres like they all door the pas isn't even that light, it is deffo normal. mine went slightly harder when i fitted the quick rack to and added caster with the mounts. its mega mate

Update:
Loom tapes arrived so got my fresh start n charge loom wrapped..

Then pulled the dash out and got 80% of that wrapped. Still got to work out how i'm gonna feed some fresh wires through the main gromit that goes through the bulkhead then i can finish wrapping..

Update..
Had a few hours yesterday so pulled the turbo off at which point i noticed one of my very expensive studs and nuts had disapeared :aaargh::aaargh:, half the thread in the head is stripped ffs, not quite sure how it happened but nothing a helicoil carnt sort out..
20170807_104042.jpg
Whipped the alty n starter back off as the start n charge looms done apart from the plugs which ill sort later..

20170807_104057.jpg

Then drilled a second hole in the bulk head under the scuttle for the dash loom that goes in the bay and once id got the extra wires i need through the big grommit and wrapped it fed it through..

Need to lengthen a few wires to reach and fit a new heater motor plug as its not looking too clever then run the oil lack and temp sensor wires down the out side of the o/s inner wing. Once i can power it all up again, be it temperally, i can finish the head light wirng off as ive forgot which wires are the side light and which are the indys..:doh::lol:

Nice to see updates on this again Ian :)
