is there a guide or a link anywhere on silicon hoses? showing which hoss come in each kit.
im seeign coolant, ancillary and breather, and not quite sure where all the hoses go.

had another part arrive this morning

a new sphere gearkn0b. now the joys of trying to rip it off its shaft and putting it into the GSi

finally things seem to be moving quick now. now il be leaving it in their hands as to when she'll be done.

Right then,
Last night after work, another package arrived. ready for the only modification im considering carrying out on the interior. I like to think of it as an oe upgrade though lol
- Calibra gauges -

I have seen some people do this before but think it looks **** really. so I had an idea to make it look OE, whilst being able to still have a 12v socket, and also a coin tray.
so.....a vectra b ashtray console.

I started by cutting out the astras ashtrya area with dremel and junior hacksaw.

After this point I realised that fitting the vectra unit and the calibra gauges just wasnt going to happen. so as i started to dismantle to vectra unit, i came across an idea for beanth the gauges.
a chopped/glued space, where i will be putting the 12v socket in the right hand corner.
Its all very work in progress at the minute, but i just needed something to do while the GSi was away.

yep thats what it is!
i was hoping to get the whole vectra part in, but closer inspection and i saw it wouldnt fit.

so just chopped up the vectar coin tray to fit beneath the calibra gauges

got to blend it all in when i get a chance. i think im going to take apart the vectar pit i did, as want to get the 12v socket in the botom right corner too yet

ffs thats where i went wrong with my center consol i cut the old ashtry out and made a ballsup with it soo i gave up on it for now but i may copy ur idea with the vectra bit in there, its looking good fella keep up with the good work

repair work to the arches and sills has now begun.

bodyshop have cut out both rear wheels arches now, and as its a mate doing it, theyve given first priority to the GSi. so i doubt it will take as long as first expected.

well my gauge console is almost complete. managed to get the 12v socket in there, and sprayed it all matt black.
still need to decide what im going to do with the gaping hole i left there lol
