Fair bit bit done today thanks to my brother Rob helping out
Engine and box are in, turbo diesel rad measured up and fitted, gear linkage on.
Just need to fit the wiring loom, exhaust system and do all the plumbing

Had to take the ecu before we could take the engine out and what a chore that was ! didnt realise that the steel cage it sits in supports the dash and also the bonnet pull. Looked like I was going to struggle with it but ended up cutting two bolts shorter so that the cage would slide out.

Offending bolts, god knows why they are over and inch long when theres no need
After that was sorted it was time to lift the engine and box out, Decided to lift it out as one lump instead of removing the subframe and worrying about captive nuts breaking off. There is enough room to take the engine and box out as one if you get the right angle and remove the crank pulley and oil filter first.

Empty bay, took the sound deadening off as it was sodden with water and found that vaux must of run out of paint
Next was to remove the starter loom so it could be transfered to the LET, doing it the right way without cutting and joining wires
