No. 35 - Vauxhall / Bedford Midi van

50mm sounds a bit thick!

How much weight will ply add?

There in lies your solution young skywalker...

Stop airflow - cause more rust - creates more airflow - no more rust. :d

I... I don’t know, stop yelling at meeeeee!

What’d you want, a concise and knowledgeable answer? The best I can do is to crawl out from under my rock to make a barely funny, not very witty comment every so often, then disappear again.

But I expect you to have ALL the answers Andrew!

I might be battling the M25 to Kent after work. There is a light sprinkling of snow, so that'll be carnage...

Big chunky tyres on already?

Got all-terrain tyres on the rear already. 205/80r16 from an L200.

I'll be moving them to the front, and fitting mud-terrains to the rear.

The merit sticker is original.

I'll ask my dad about the rust and the insulation.... hes an expert on rust and treatment and that... his line of work is paint and osmosis on superyachts and that lol

Cheers!

I joined a camper group on FB, but to be honest I think it's the usual issues, they are answering for what would be the best thing to do to make a super-warm camper van.

What I'm trying to do is make a work van less frosty when I'm in the back tucked up in a sleeping bag!

Even as it is, it can't be any colder than a tent, can it?
