Rad's Astra Van

just picked up a 1996 1.7td astra van, not in the best of condition but it was cheap and it has 4months tax and 12 months mot.

its a non runner on most days and it needs some welding doing on the rear near the spring cups.

also its pink so i need to try and get it polished as it looks even worse parked next to the gsi.

Plans:

Try and get the deisel motor running
Get the welding done
Fit rear seats
Try and restor the paint work.
Sand down and repaint the back and eventually plyline it.
Fit Colour Coded Mirrors
De-badge and remove bump strips


Future plans:

V6 if the diesels fooked
Black Dash board
Electric windows
Sport Bumper W/ Fogs
Mk4 Astra Side Reps
Sport/Gsi Seats
Some Vaux Alloys
Plain Slatted Grill
De-Wiper the rear


Basically just want it clean and reliable at the moment as money abit tight and the gsi aint running as it should.

its the gm one mate which ive herd they are Sh!te

Havnt took any notice tbh think its a performance back box, looks like the one on the gsi, still sounds like a derv tho

bought some new wheels off corsa_evan, cav v6 fan blades, wont be going on till the vans running and been cleaned, will get some pics when i can

Take a look in corsa_evan ph2 gsi diary on page 2 they a silver with black center and black inside rim, never seen them done like it before so thought id treat myself

van needs a GSi bumbper grill and bonnet phase2 side skirts should fit back bumper duno what you can use !
