Hi guys, Thought i'd start a progress thread for my new pride and joy.
I had a white phase 1 GSi from 2000-2005 until I scrapped it due to rust. I loved that car and spent thousands on it including a respray in pearl white.

Here is my old GSi.

I missed it so much I kept my eyes out for another. After waiting for over 1 year I found this shell advertised and stuck a deposit on it and collected it yesterday.
Here she is.

I have big plans for the car including a 500bhp let, Buckets seats up front, GAZ coilovers and 4 pots all round.
Due to my plans I reckon this will probably take me 18 months or more as funds dictate.

Looks like it's already had some decent money sent on it, good luck with it.

The lad I bought it off has spent a fortune on it including a full respray 3-4 years ago. It's sat in his garage for the last 2 years after he blew the engine.

No mate, It's from Skelmersdale. I bought it from a guy called Graham. I wasn't aware another mk3 had those wheels on. Any pics of it?

I will be watching this!

I almost bought them wheels off the guy.
Very nice base mate!

I remember him wanting £800 for the wheels as they're pretty rare in this fitment. I can't wait to start cracking in it now. Will probably be after Christmas now.

think i seen this on migweb. cracking shell, will be watching this progress to, nice buy

It really is one of the best mk3 shells I've seen, Luckily he let me put a deposit on it a few month back until I had the rest of the cash. Now to save for the epic let build.

gorgeous wheels and shell from not far from me

I've had a good look round it and can't find any rust:o Even underneath has been painted black. Definitely going to be a fair weather car this.

nice car i saw this on MIG and was tempted with the wheels but not the £800 tag
