Ronnie's PROJECT RWD :D - mk3 astra gsi turbo rear wheel drive ;)

Yeah thats how I ran the calibra v6 clocks on my van just with a abs sensor. Hopefully the digidashes will be the same.

The other thing I read as these are euro only spec they only read in kph. But can get them unlocked with tech1/2 to mph. They have the pixles there.

on mine I used one of 'doms' (on mig web) pulse adjusters to correct the speed from kph to mph, works a treat.

He's still selling them in kit form if you ask.

Im just happy ive got a set :) as ive got a long time to worry about getting them to work till theres a car for them to go in

haha.... Yes u have :P

The next person who tricks me into thinking Ronnies made an update is gonna get beats

even if its ronnie?

what diff and prop are you planning on using on this? and are you spinning the engine round the right way too? id read through but its 107 pages lol

Monaro diff I think and yes it's the right way. Seriously have a flick through. The centre tunnel is from a Sierra. That's an idea of the fabrication that's going in to this.

i got asked this in a another thread too when will this start again, in all honesty not for a while, its not going anywhere and will be 100% finished but since starting a family and buying a house all free times and excess funds have stopped. once both my kids start school, with my shift pattern it will give me 6 hours a day, 4 days a week all to my self so some mega progress can commence again. but with my youngest only being nearly 3 its a long way off yet. ( ive had the snip so dont worry this date wont be moving back anymore)

its been so long that many of the current regular members werent even around when i started!! those that do remember will recall the mega updates, year 1 of this project i was putting 40hours a week into it, the next 5 years barely got 40 hours combined.

basic overview is c20let engine turned around inline, Turbotechnics T38, jenvey throttle bodies, Mtec standalone management with launch and flatshift.
sierra cosworth T5 gearbox, TTV flywheel and helix clutch, monaro rear diff, calibra turbo rally car solid rear subframe, calibra rally car rose jointed front and rear suspension arms, Gaz coilovers, 350mm AP 2 piece front discs and aston martin 4 pots, 2 piece 280mm rear discs. cobaru revolution touring car bucket seats, opel gt2000 digi dash. fully adjustable pedal box and hydraullic handbrake. 18inch technomagnesio detroit f1s, lots of carbon bits and bobs. lots more and its all just sitting in boxes (in undisclosed locations).

the shell is structurally finished. ph1 gsi with new quarters, new sills and new front and rear pannels. full calibra 4x4 rear floor pan and sierra centre floorpan with tunnel. custom rollcage linking all 4 turrets and links to the rear sub frame too.

probably lots more ive missed but its been a while since i looked

someone pass me a cold bucket of water!

fancy doing an estate if i win the lottery? lol

seriously cant wait to see some progress with this, ive been told little things about it by other members and it sounds just awesome. Roll on you getting time to crack on with it i say

It's all the detail too, like the mounting height of the diff matches how low it will sit so the rear drive shafts will sit level and not wear out. Amazing.
