Slowly trundling down the motorway I noticed a van passenger sneakily taking a photo of my Astra.

It'll probably end up on Auto****e, but still amusing...

Yesterday I had in my hands the piece of bronze that all current and future Victoria Cross medals are made from. That was pretty cool!

I had some amusing feedback from an item I sold on eBay:

"Yes thanks, they arrived promptly and safely. They have already been used in anger, recovering a hilux from a boggy field! Thanks again."

I know I use them for getting my Astra unstuck from mud, but can't picture someone using them on a 4x4 truck!

Got the opportunity to have the afternoon off work so took it. The estate was sat there saying drive me so I did. An hour later im smiling like a Cheshire cat.

Went into a tradition old style grocers shop today. Not been in one for years as I normally get fruit and veg from the supermarket giants. I much say a real pleasure going in there, clean lots of choice and more than pleased to serve me. Think I'll be going back.
