*Adz* MK3 GSiT Diary

This is my 730d Sport... 2006 74k with history etc... had it just over a month and its like driving a big sofa around...

Has TV, Satnav, electric memory seats/steering wheel, dual climate loads more....

So far had windows tinted & wind deflectors added and a nice remap... other then a service and couple of tyres thats about it....

Still have the ol faithful GSiT though....

Right guys... as fun as its been... the time has come to part with the Astra and break it for parts... its hard and quite upsetting to be honest, but i just dont have the heart there any more to contiune its journey... i want something else.... if i had the room... id keep it but having 2 cars is the most i can have for time being....

Any one want parts... please give us a call /text on the number in my sig..... also look through here to see whats what... there are 60 pages worth of stuff!

£7k for the car you must be on some seriously strong medication thats a ridiculous price for the car
 
Sorry... who's car isit??? If it dont go at that price ill keep it... simple really..... there is a buyer for everything... you gonna get haters... ill just have 3 cars with the vxr8.... But i actually couldnt give a toss what anyone thinks lol
 
And that's the attitude that will mean you will not sell the car complete as yes nice spec' engine but that is it its nowt special and seeing a mint low mileage one wouldn't be worth £7k your dreaming lad!

Wow... over a year ago i updated this thread saying i was gonna sell it.. but deep down i didnt.. so its still here.... lol got loads of spares for it in the mean time... and a couple of new additions to me fleet.... a VXR8 Wortec Edition - Astra Mk2 GTE with a VXR engine in... and the 730d went and got a 535d.

Im gonna spend some time over the winter giving the mk3 & mk2 a overhal as they both need abit of work doing to be honest.. only silly little things then have them out for next summer.

Yes LEH Mk2... still using fly by wire too.... Nothing quite as impressive as Beckett's and i didnt build this one myself to be honest... as Kevin said... it was on facebook forsale and i bought it blind from up north and to my surprise... it wasnt to shabby... it was quite known out there in the mk2 world which has its bonus's lol.

Heres some more pictures of the Mk2... Of course.. it needs some work doing to it, but after a look around its mainly just old bits from the standard car which need putting back together kinda thing. Engine bay is pretty much sorted though...

Im guessing so mate, as the dials are original and theres no other fuses box's as per the VXR would have laying around anywhere...
 
Well well well.... Kinda forgotten i had this until i walked in a garage the other day and was like... ohhh thats where i left it...

Recently insured to be on the road again... so will be hopefully making a presence this year...all being well..
